What does the Quiksilver Crossing mean to you?

It means freedom. It means the chance to see the world. It gives us the opportunity to never grow up.

LAX was a nightmare but the flight was smooth. The drive was interesting. The traffic was on four legs; it was a herd of cows. We got on a dirt road and an hour later we saw the boat. What a sight! The chef made an insane dinner and down I went..

We left port early in the morning after a good nights sleep. Powering for three hours the winds blew off shore all morning and we past countless beach breaks on our way to a wave that had been surfed before by the crew on the boat. Almost as we pulled up the wind switched for the first time in a month and we surfed on shore left reefs that were really fun but if it was off shore it would have been spitting. Fun surf for the first session. After that we powered down to an anchorage and what the captain said was supposed to be the best wave in Central America.

Did not sleep very well last night. Woke up a bit grumpy but my surroundings were really beautiful so I had to smile. The cookie made an insane breakfast and off we went. We were going to the left, as we pulled up we saw some sets but it looked really messy with boils all over. The JJ paddled out, he lives there and said when the low tide comes we will be pleasantly surprised. We went off with six foot spitting pits. We surfed all day and by 1:00pm we were so tired and sun burnt we could barely move. Perfect waves will do that. We surfed again and had some more great waves.
Dinner was insane. Lobster!!

Tom Carroll really went off today. Timmy Turner got all the barrels.
Todd Morcom got spit down the streets. Jimmy Rotherhman towed in to a bomb for the first time. Shane (Parko) got sick pits.
I dislocated my shoulder.
